Daily Living Skills
Learning Independence
Schooling years are often focused on achieving best outcomes in the academic space. However, many adults with Autism have not mastered basic daily living skills such as independent dressing and eating, personal hygiene, or being able to perform household tasks such as bed-making, cleaning, and kitchen tasks. Our programme aims to improve skills in self-care and daily household living. Examples of skills include personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, exercising, laundry, household cleaning, washing dishes, preparing snacks, cooking skills, and shopping. Our Group Home provides us with further opportunities to practise these skills.
Enrollment and Fees
Enrollments are done through interviews and a trial visit to ensure best fit of the programme to the applicant. There is a monthly fee for enrolling into the day programme or the Group Home.
