Cognitive
Stimulation and Development
Learning should not stop when the person with Autism leaves school. Continuous cognitive stimulation and development is essential for quality of life. At APPA we continue to develop learning readiness as an essential component of continuous, lifelong learning.

Learning Pre-Academic Skills
The programme aims to ensure post-school numeracy and literacy functioning is maintained, and developed further. Art and music are also important components of our programme. While one member may be completing a matching activity, another member may be doing data capturing on a computer. We aim to make our activities as functional and age-appropriate as possible while also considering cognitive ability, ensuring they are enjoyable.
Enrollment and Fees
Enrollments are done through interviews and a trial visit to ensure best fit of the programme to the applicant. There is a monthly fee for enrolling into the day programme or the Group Home.
